Review: Kenny Chesney’s marathon at Gillette Stadium
It was a double-dose of Americana and alcohol at Gillette Stadium last night, as country superstars Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean lit up the venue on the first of a sold-out, two-night stand on their co-headlining tour.
The weather was perfect, the moon was full and there were songs about tractors, trucks, forever and booze. Fans came draped in American flag apparel, sporting cowboy hats and cowboy boots and pretending to be Southern for a day. What more could you ask for at an end-of-summer party?
