If you’re looking for reasons to stay indoors over the next few months (and with the wacky weather we’ve been having, who isn’t?), here’s a short list of area shows that should bring the heat. Some ticket info is provided, but for shows that are already sold out, try sites like StubHub.com or AceTicket.com.

Jay Z – Mohegan Sun, Jan. 17, and TD Garden, Jan. 18

Hip-hop mogul Jay Z just wrapped up a joint tour with Justin Timberlake and proved yet again that when it comes to live rap performances, the so-called God MC is second to none (well, except Kanye West). Tickets $30 to $149, Ticketmaster.com.

2 Chainz – House of Blues Boston, Feb. 4
