poem: taciturn/concern

occasionally my will is stilted
or stillborn
desire ebbs like the tide
when the moon subsides
to a sliver
the prettiest crescent
i could be
buried as the roller
coasts
she loves to boast
about my accomplishments
broadcasts that news fast
each time my resume grows
but on a level
she knows.
